About BIAMIC

Ronnie Schmitz
Founder and Principal Advisor
I have spent over forty years inside complex, high-stakes organisations. Leading teams through crises. Rebuilding service delivery from the ground up. Navigating major technology procurements under regulatory and commercial pressure. Watching the gap between what organisations say and what they actually do grow wider and more costly.
I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the table too. I have built a business and lost it. I have been without income for extended periods and kept moving anyway. I have sat with the specific weight of carrying a problem that no one else can solve for you. That experience does not make me a better theorist. It makes me a better advisor.
I left my last corporate role at Dimension Data/NTT Data in May 2025, having held Head of Client Delivery positions across Mid-Market, Manufacturing, and Modern Network sectors. What I built at BIAMIC draws on everything those years taught me about where leadership actually fails, why service excellence erodes, and what it genuinely takes to close the gap between intention and reality.
I am a consultant and leadership advisor. My clients are senior leaders carrying real problems. They do not need facilitated self-discovery. They need directness, experience, and an outside perspective that is not constrained by internal politics.

Why BIAMIC
BIAMIC is named for my daughter Bianca and my son Michael. They are the proof of something I have built my entire professional approach around: that no two people, teams, or organisations are the same. From the same values and the same home, they grew into two completely unique individuals. The principles may be consistent. The application is always different. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here and there never will be. The licence plate on my car says BIAMIC. This is not a business name. It is a commitment.

Why Work With Me
I am not a theorist. I have been in the room when things went wrong and when they were turned around. Every framework I apply, every principle I use, is built from that experience. Not from a methodology I was trained in. From situations I navigated.
I will tell you what I see. I will not tell you what you want to hear. And I will stay with the problem until it is properly named, properly addressed, and properly protected from the internal pressure that often derails good work.
You cannot steer a stationary boat. If you are carrying something that needs to move, the first conversation is the helm.

What to Expect
Every engagement starts with a direct conversation about the real problem. Not a scoping document. Not a proposal template. An honest exchange about what is happening, what has been tried, and where the gap sits.
Where diagnostic tools add value, they are used. The Hartman Value Profile is one such tool, used not to label people but to surface how they make decisions and where their strengths lie. The tools do not drive the process. They support it.
The approach is diagnostic: observe what is actually happening, interpret what it means in context, and apply what the situation genuinely requires. The result is not just clarity. It is traction.
